Senior Pastor E. Stephen Roberts was born in Toledo Ohio. His parents, Melvin and Edwina Roberts, were both raised in Christian homes and endeavored to impart Christian values into the hearts and minds of their children.

Pastor Roberts served honorably in the United States Army during the era of the Vietnam War. Upon returning home he began to further his education. Attending college he majored in Business Management, Marketing and Distribution.

He entered the Gospel Ministry in September 1983, answering the Divine 'Call' from our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. He has attended Great Lakes Bible College in Lansing, MI. Pastor Roberts has been a full-time pastor for over 25 years, and has a solid background in pastoral ministry. He has recently completed his first book, titled BEYOND THE FLESH .

Having been a pastor in the rural small-town church, in the church of the mid-sized city, and in the church of the big metropolitan-city, Pastor Roberts draws upon the wealth of these experiences, and brings the value of them to the pages of his writings. He is (for nearly sixteen years) the Senior Pastor of the Garfield Park Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.

Pastor Roberts has been an instructor to hundreds of pastors from across the United States, who gather at the eleven hundred acre Green Lakes Conference Center of the American Baptist Assemblies, located at Green Lakes, WI. He preaches in various assemblies across the country, as he continues to be active and busy, favored for his unique, insightful, stirring, and spiritually illuminating preaching and teaching.

Pastor E. Stephen Roberts and his wife, Katheryn, have four children: Sean (wife Stacy); David; Diana and Rebekah. The family is involved in respective areas of Kingdom service in the ministries of the church. Pastor Roberts and First Lady Katheryn (also a licensed minister) also are the proud grandparents of six grandsons.

First Lady, Pastor Katheryn native Chicagoan, raised on the West Side of Chicago. At age 10 she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at the Garfield Park Baptist Church.

Pastor Katheryn a mother of 4 and grandmother of 7 boys. Retired from IBM Corporation as a Systems Management Analyst for 13 years, she and her husband are owners of the Living Image Publishing. She serves as the production executive for the Arise & Be Blessed television program, that is seen in over 1.2 millions households throughout Chicago and the Midwest.

A First Lady for over 20 years, served in various ministries; Christian Education Director, Children’s Church Director, Organizer for the Vessels of Glory Women’s ministry. She teaches discipleship classes “Becoming a Vessel God Can Use and Discipleship Evangelism” both courses have produced fruit to ministries started in churches and through the Holy Spirit these courses have enabled women and men minister and lead others in discipleship.

She now serves as Pastor in Church Administration & Technology and Christian Education. She preaches and loves to teach. She ministers at various bible retreats, women conferences and workshops and special worship services. In 2011 she was blessed to minister in Kampala, Africa where she taught at Charis Bible College Uganda and ministered at the Nagasaki Hospital.

She studied Christian Education in World Religions at the College of Naperville and the St. Paul Christian Leadership school in Toledo, Ohio.A graduate of Ministerial Studies at the In HIS Image School of Ministry in Chicago, Illinois and a graduate of the Charis Bible College Chicago an Extension of Andrew Wommack Ministries where she received a Diploma in Ministering Training & School of Practical Ministry.
